The Clearest Statement of the Identity of the Marcionite Jesus as Eeshu From Tertullian Adversus Marcionem

Jesus is described (Adv Marc 4.11) as "homo a deo Marcionis." The section puzzles both Holmes and Evans who struggle to make sense of it but the subject is clearly Jesus as 'physician' and how it is that Jesus can come to the leper when "a physician is more usually furnished by him to whom the sick people belong."
