Note 3 to the Mimar Marqe

An editorial correction. The writer obviously knows enough about to Egyptian religious practices to say they worship the form of animals but the text here make it seem as if Mark accuses them of holding dualistic principles. Clearly the 'You say that' is a correction. Marqe originally understood there to be two gods one who had power over 'animal souls' and the other 'the Lord of spirits."
