Fiftieth Year runs from Day of Atonement September 37 A.D. to March 39 A.D.

Here is the exact correspondence with the Era of the Hijrah intended by AF.

What he meant was that the year 1 A.H. was Year 1993 + 260 of Entry = 2253 of Entry and 5047 A.M. (Years of the World). Year 1 A.H. started on 20/8/624. So he means Year 2253 of Entry started in March 624 A.D. This means 1 A.D. is 2253 less 623 = 1630 of Entry. This makes 37 A.D. Year 1630 + 36 = 1666 of Entry. Dividing by 49 gives exactly 34. That means 34 × 49 years have passed by the end of the year 1666 of Entry or by March 38 A.D. The fiftieth year starts on the Day of Atonement on 10/7/1666 of Entry = September 37 A.D. and runs through the Year 1667 of Entry starting in March 38 A.D.

1 A.D. was Year 1630 of Entry, as shown. 1 B.C. was Year 1629 of Entry. Alexander died in June 323 B.C. This was Year 1629 less 322 = 1307 of Entry. The High Priest Azqiya is said to have died immediately after. The death of the High Priest was 4100 years from Creation = 1306 years from Entry. This means it occurred during the Year 1307 of Entry, soon after June. The calculations above for the correspondence with the Islamic Era are confirmed, which means the calculations for 37 and 38 A.D. are confirmed.
