More on the Identification of Agrippa as the messiah of Daniel
The Christian sources for the tradition of the identification of Marcus Agrippa are not only “greater heretical’ and not only Marcionite and not only the documents of Catholic identification of the Antichrist. What about the long string of early Christian commentators on Daniel, or on the passage in the Gospel quoting from Daniel? I mean the long string of commentators listed by Montgomery, all considered orthodo in the later Church up till the present, who say the identification of the anointed one in Daniel with Marcus Agrippa, and the calculation of the date at 70 A.D., are the plain and certain intention of the text.
