Why the two angels with shofars are on the right side
Here is why the two two-winged angels are on the right side over the bull. Two would be incomplete. As they have an eagle’s head and a lion’s head but human bodies, they correspond to the human-bodied Seraph as well. Being over the bull, they correspond to that as well. Besides, if they were e other side, they might be thought to correspond to the human-bodied Seraph combined with an eagle and lion. Why not have one that is half bull? Because by definition the animals can’t be fused. Then how can they have human bodies? I don’t quite know, but here is a go. If there were only one with a human body, it would be a fusion. If both have human bodies, then they are not fusions, just representations of two of the animals with only the heads in distinctive form. This is why two angels had to be shown, not just the eagle. There is still only one shofar being blown, since the two Seraphs are both Mark-John.
