This is just an observation. I am not trying to create a new religion here but if you suppose that the Marcionites had Jesus come down on Theophany (Epiphany) and start counting the days from January 6th until February 23rd you get exactly 49 (7 x 7) days.
If you count from the Theophany to the Crucifixion its 77 days.
Just a curious feature of the calendar, the second observation would be true whether or not you buy into my theory about LGM 1.
