The Twenty Sixth Proof that Clement of the Alexandrian See of St. Mark Was a Prominent Leader of the Tradition Irenaeus Identifies as 'Marcosian'

26. Irenaeus says that Marcosians teach that "the Duodecad, it is indicated by the zodiacal circle, as it is called; for they affirm that the twelve signs do most manifestly shadow forth the Duodecad." [AH i.17.1]

Clement of Alexandria writes that "the twelve stones, set in four rows on the breast [of the high priest] describe for us the circle of the zodiac." [Stromata v.6]
