Mark the Samaritan's Parallel Interest in 'Glorification' on the Seventh Day
It is difficult for me to accept that most 'experts' on the New Testament have no real working knowledge of rabbinic Judaism or Samaritanism. What are they really 'experts' on anyway - a European tradition about 'the gospels' which emerged by and through Irenaeus of Rome?
I also can't believe that there is some 'controversy' that a secret Gospel of Mark was discovered to have a reference to a seven day initiation which ended with the baptism of the initiate. I have already demonstrated that this is based on the Jewish festival of Passover or Chag haMatzot as it is identified among the Samaritans.
Isn't this obvious when the Apostle testifies to the connection between the שביעי של פסח and baptism?
In any event I have to go out to dinner right now with my family but when I come back I will demonstrate COUNTLESS WAYS that 'Samaritan Mark' - i.e. another guy named Mark that references 'the gospel' who established the entire Samaritan liturgy - shares this understanding. Indeed not just the fact that the ancient Israelites were baptized in the cloud and the sea (which is amazing enough) but that the idea that it takes seven days to glorify the flesh.
Any ideas what I should eat tonight?
