There is ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT That While He was Alive 'Mark' was the 'Samaritan Messiah'

The most important email I ever received came just now from my best friend Rory Boid of Monash University. The subject line was 'Marqe the Prophet of the Fanuta'

P. 32 of the introduction to edition of Tibat Marqe by Ze’ev Ben-Hayyim, Jerusalem, 1988. Ms. Oriental 7923 of the British Library, written out between 1738 and 1741 AD, has a title-page reading in Arabic This is the book of the Mimar composed by the Prophet of the Fanuta our master Marqe the favour of God upon him Amen. P. 31. Ms. Samaritan Octavo 27 of the National Library in Jerusalem, written out in 1908 or 1909, has the same title-page, except that it expands it “the favour and mercy of God”.

Now we see why Dositheos could be called The Second Prophet. The Torah written out by Moses was for the Age of Favour, Ruuta. This ended soon after the death of Samson. Adjustments to practice had to be made.

The same idea is reconfirmed in a marginal note from a manuscript in Leningrad which my other friend (and Samaritan) Benny Tsedaka saw.
