Stupid Quote of the Day

Louis Feldman, Josephus, the Bible and History "Wirgin's suggestion that Agrippa regarded himself as the Messiah seems unlikely, since Josephus would hardly have praised him if that were so inasmuch as a messiah by definition would have been a political rebel against the ruling power of Rome."[p. 385] Hmmm. The last I checked Menachem Mendel Schneersohn wasn't a political rebel, nor Jacob Frank, nor a host of other messianic 'pretenders.'
