The Alexandrian Tradition Seems to Think that Apollos is Apelles

In Acts xviii 24 and xix. r, K, Copt, have 'Apelles,' while D in xviii. 24 has ' Apollonius.' The reading 'Apelles' seems to be Egyptian, and goes back to Origen, who asks whether Apollos can be the same as the Apelles of Rom. xvi.10
