Examples of Early Christian Figures Addressed in the Diminutive [Part One]

This is a series I am going to start to familiarize people with the manner in which diminutives were utterly common in Christian antiquity.  The point is to underscore my argument that 'Marcion' (Mark + -ion) is a dimunituve of Mark.

From Wikipedia "Abibion (fl. 5th century) was one of the founders of Bet-Coryph monastery in Syria, together with Eusebonas."

Abibion = Abib + -ion (Greek diminutive suffix) Eusebonas = Eusebius + -ona (Syriac diminutive suffix)
