Father Philippe Luisier on the Traditional Coptic Veneration of Pontius Pilate

One of the most intriguing aspects of the Coptic faith is its veneration of Pontius Pilate as a saint.  I happen to belong to a discussion group where an article by Father Philippe Luisier S.J., professor of Coptic Language and Literature at the Pontifical Oriental Institute in Rome was recently published. I have provided a link to it here with a warning that the article will disappear at this link two days from now. Happy reading! http://db.tt/briPDtIs
