On the Name Sabellius

I am asking a number of experts on the Semitic languages to see how viable the idea of connection Irenaeus's reference to Polycarp as 'the divine elder' (ὁ θεῖος πρεσβύτης) to 'Sabellius.' It is just a theory right now but the idea that Polycarp would have had enemies within the Church seems obvious from his known escapades in Rome and the known circumstances surrounding his death. He must have gotten in trouble wherever he went. Parrhesia gets you in trouble. I know from personal experience.
