The Greek name (Chrestos), however, would have been pronounced Christos (by itacism) in Suetonius's day. [Joseph A. Fitzmyer, First Corinthians: A New Translation with Introduction and Commentary p. 37]Suetonius lived 70 - 130 CE which would imply to me at least that from the earliest possible period of recorded information about Christianity the name of the Christian god was pronounced 'Eesous.'
