The Third Sentence from the Letter to Theodore from Agamemnon Tselikas's Transcription

"For being inflated with knowledge, as they say, of the depths of Satan, they are deceived into the gloom of the darkness of falsehood, rejecting themselves and boasting to be free, they have become slaves of debased desires."

It seems to convey a metaphorical or allegorical meaning, discussing individuals who, despite claiming knowledge and freedom, are actually enslaved by their base desires and misled by falsehoods.
