An Answer to a question I asked about the meaning of the traditional title of St. Mark in the Coptic tradition 'theorimos.' Harry passed it over to Harry Kritsas, former Director of the Epigraphical Museum, Athens. Here is his response
The word theorimos in coptic could probably be a corruption for the greek word θεωρρήμων which means theologian (θεολόγος), characterizing for ex. Γρηγόριος Ναζιανζηνός.
Alternatively it could become from θεωρήμων (with single P), meaning "contemplative" (στοχαστικός, βυθισμένος σε θρησκευτική ενατένιση).
With best regards and good wishes
