The only remaining objection to my interpretation of what AF intended would be that he would have been expected to give a synchronisation somewhere that was obvious without any thought. He did, right after the third statement of the date of coming of Muhammad. He gives the correspondence of years of Creation with 756 AH [1355 AD], the year of finishing the book. At this point his original date has been replaced. The way it was done was so stupid there is no doubt. Someone added 756 to 5047 making 5803, that is, added the no. of Islamic years to the no. of absolute or solar years. The no. of absolute years from the Hijrah is 1, 355 take away 622 = 733. But AF didn’t count from the Hijrah anyway. From 625 to 1355 AD is 730. Adding 730 to 5047 would have made 5,777 years from Creation, or the year 5778 AM. This is year 2984 of Entry and year 2324 of Fanuta.
The starting 5,047 years from Creation is the year before a Jubilee. This is the year starting 2253 years (5047 – 2794) from Entry and finishing 2254 years from Entry. 46 x 49 = 2254.
