The Real Messiah is Number 8 on Amazon's Early Church List
Of course my book tends to move all over the place on the Amazon rankings but at the time I am writing this it is ranked 17,000 over all and eighth in the list of books on the Early Church. Only one of the books ahead of me in the rankings were actually written this year. The list includes:
1. St. Augustine Confessions
2. The First Paul: Reclaiming the Radical Visionary Behind the Church's Conservative Icon by Marcus J. Borg (Author), John Dominic Crossan (Author)
3. The Early Church (The Penguin History of the Church) (v. 1) by Henry Chadwick
4. The Orthodox Church: New Edition by Timothy Ware
5. Ecclesiastical History of the English People (Penguin Classics) by Bede (Author), D. H. Farmer (Editor, Introduction), Ronald E. Latham (Editor), Leo Sherley-Price (Translator)
6. A Reformation Reader: Primary Texts With Introductions by Denis Janz (Author, Editor)
7. A Greek-English Lexicon of the New Testament and Other Early Christian Literature by Walter Bauer (Author), Frederick William Danker (Editor)
Wow! To be standing beside Walter Bauer on any list is indeed quite an honor. My only question is of course - who are these people reading Bede? Of course many might be asking who the hell are all these people reading the Real Messiah? Maybe it has something to do with Amazon offering a new hardcover edition for $5 ...
BUY MY BOOK. SERIOUSLY. WHAT CAN YOU BUY TODAY FOR $5?
