Origen's Belief in the Resurrecting Christ Soul
In some Jesus lives, in others indeed he has died. Jesus lives ... in all who can truly say 'I live yet not I but Christ liveth in me.' (Gal ii.20) Again he says 'To me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.' (Phil i. 21) In such as these Jesus deservedly said to live. (Jud. Hom. ii Geneb. vol. i p. 211, A.)
There is therefore no period when the soul does not bring forth. The soul ever brings forth, ever generates children. But that generation is blessed indeed which is produced, having been conceived by the Word of God; and this is the generation of children through which it will become saved. (In Num., Hom. xx., Geneb vol. i p. 157, A)
