The Forty Ninth Proof that Clement of the Alexandrian See of St. Mark Was a Prominent Leader of the Tradition Irenaeus Identifies as 'Marcosian'

49. Irenaeus says that the Marcosians take great interest in the sixth letter "and for this reason (he maintains) that Moses says that man was created on the sixth day. And (he asserts) that the dispensation of suffering (took place) on the sixth day, which is the preparation; (and so it was) that on this (day) appeared the last man for the regeneration of the first man. And that the beginning and end of this dispensation is the sixth hour, at which He was nailed to the (accursed) tree." [AH v:42]

Clement of Alexandria writes "wherefore also man is said to have been made on the sixth day, who became faithful to Him who is the sign (episemon), so as straightway to receive the rest of the Lord's inheritance. Some such thing also is indicated by the sixth hour in the scheme of salvation, in which man was perfected." [Stromata vi.16]

My note - does anyone have any idea what the diagram on the left demonstrates? Jesus is the number six. To borrow the concept from Judaism - he is Metatron.

If you have been raised in a Christian home and don't understand, go outside, throw all the invented nonsense you've been taught into the garbage and come back and look at the picture again - there are two powers in heaven, always have been, always will be.

In essence it shows two thrones one on top of the other, the first with the number 10 enthroned and below that the number six enthroned. Six has always, will always be the symbol of this world. Mark's understanding is preserved among the Samaritans as saying that this is so because there are six directions in the world - up, down, north, south, east and west. Mark says other things to this effect in his Samaritan literature (I have a Samaritan staying near my house in the middle of December; he will inform us of all their traditions).

Look at the name Yeshu - the name even Irenaeus acknowledges is Jesus' real name. Notice it has the same basic structure - a yod followed by a shin followed by a vav. Anyway I will explain it all in a later post but please remember - I am not making this 'Christian kabbalah' up. Irenaeus and Clement witness that it was emanating out of Alexandria as early as the late second century and my next post - and the next one hundred after that - will demonstrate that this 'Christian kabbalah' of Mark is as old as Philo or better yet - as old as the 'legends' of St. Mark establishing Christianity in Alexandria ...
