- in the 1980s Neusner left the Department of Religious Studies for something called 'Judaic Studies'
- my source says that he was very difficult to work ('challenging') and was prone to get into fights with coworkers. I was told this was on the public record and given a number of references to back this up.
- he wrote other articles condemning the state of education before the publication of the Price of Excellence in 1995 and was directed where to find these articles.
