My Mother Called Me Up Asking Me if the Name 'LGM 1' Has Something to Do With a Gay Organization

My mom somehow found my blog and asked me whether 'LGM 1' (= 'the first addition to the longer gospel of Mark') has something to do with the acronyms like LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transvestite). 'You're always blogging about homosexuality,' she asked, 'now there's this gay day you're celebrating ...' She asked me to explain. Who picked that acronym anyway?
