William E. Walker, class of 1889, New Orleans, La. Ex-dean and professor of orthodontia in the New Orleans College of Dentistry; prolific writer; author of many original treatises on mechanism of the jaw.
Also was part of the organizing committee of the American Dentistry Association meeting in New Orleans in 1899. Held certain patents related to the human jaw. Appearing also on patent is a John Mort Walker (1876 - 1961) a brother (?) who had a son who was a prominent lawyer (John Mort Walker Jr). His grandson appears to also practice law today.
I think we can learn more about this John Mort Walker because he appears to have had another son:
William Quealey Walker — B. 3.30.1905 at New Orleans, son of John Mort Walker, I and Kathryn Nell Quealey.
I also see this in an ancestry site:
William Quealy Walker was born in New Orleans, La., and died October 1988 in Brunswick, Ga..
He married Lucille Gilligan.
Children of William Quealy Walker and Lucille Gilligan are:
+Sally Walker.
William Quealy Walker, b. September 1938
